about

This is my debut album entitled "Here Comes a New Challenger" featuring all original music. This album showcases the influences that have turned me into the artist I am today, which is blending elements of jazz with hiphop. The album concept was to make a statement and show that I am making my mark in this music industry and wanting to inspire others to create and be the best version of themselves. The cover art takes one of my favorite video games growing up "Tekken" and re-imagines it with myself in the game fighting against another version of myself, juxtaposing the only person getting in the way of my success is myself.

I want to thank my friends and family for the constant support and love they have shown me throughout the album making process, with you by my side I can really do anything. I want to thank God for all the opportunities that he has presented me throughout my career this far and know that there is more to come. Huge shout out to all musicians a part of the making of this album; Machado Mijiga, Jonny Tobin, EyeLoveBrandon, Winks, Farnell Newton, Boooka, The Rhetorician, Hunter Gillam, Drew Mohr, Peter Adams, Brian Smith, Irondale & EzWeems. Thank you to the design team for all their hard-work to bring my vision to life; Malia Makahanaloa, Demetrius Williams and Mohammad Alkhadher aka 62nd.digital.

"My music is the spiritual expression of what I am — my faith, my knowledge, my being...When you begin to see the possibilities of music, you desire to do something really good for people, to help humanity free itself from its hangups...I want to speak to their souls." - John Coltrane
